Awesome People!

Yep, I know this blog should be about something with fabric, etc. Not! I want to tell the world about the two most awesome diverse female soldiers I have met. My two new to me gals are my adopted soldiers through www.soldiersangels.com These two ladies are awesome because both of them have chosen the army as a career, they are doing jobs they love to do and the fact they are keeping us safe makes them awesome in my book. The army is the reason I am alive today, so yes I will always be grateful. I can not say their location and / or jobs, but just knowing that are young women out there doing the work they are doing is wow, etc to me. I grew up in an age and time when women were just beginning to break into traditional male dominated jobs. These two young are not confined to the medical field, but are working in fields they chose and from what I have been told enjoy and love. I guess in a way this could be a fabric running through because women in my time pushed so the women of today could choose and excel in these fields. You ladies rock!

Life's Circle

Hi evreyone!
I truly hope your little corner of this not so big world is just the way you want it. If not, then I truly hope and pray you taking steps to change what you can and to know when you can not.
Jim and I vended last weekend at Pioneer Day's Festival in Mayo, Fl. The recession is not over, alot of people looking, but not buying.....thinking. We still had an awesome time! Mayo is still small town USA, with a community that really cares about their people.
We are getting ready for oue next event which will be in Cross Creek, FL. We will be at Fall Festival held on the grounds of M.K. Rawlings (author). This event is being held to help the volunteer fire dept. in that area.
A big hug to Mike Rehberg for stopping by to see me and meet Jim. Mike and I went to high school together.....has it really been that long? All for now ...Blessings!
